Job Description

The Local Mobiliser plays a vital role in supporting the implementation of UN-Habitat’s programs in partnership with the Municipality of Rio de Janeiro, reporting directly to the Head of the Brazil Office. This position, based in the vibrant city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, is set for a duration of six months. The successful applicant will engage the community in various activities, facilitating participation and transparent communication about projects. Responsibilities include organizing meetings, promoting community involvement, and ensuring alignment with UN-Habitat standards. Ideal candidates will possess relevant experience, especially in public projects targeting vulnerable communities, along with strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills. Fluency in Portuguese is required, and candidates must be ready to comply with UN security protocols. 🌍🤝
