Job Description

The United Nations Environment Programme – Copenhagen Climate Centre (UNEP-CCC) is seeking a national contractor to assist with the Technology Needs Assessment (TNA) process in Kazakhstan focusing on climate change mitigation within the waste sector. This role involves analyzing technology needs, organizing stakeholder engagements, and creating critical reports such as a Technology Action Plan (TAP), a Barrier Analysis and Enabling Framework (BA&EF), and a portfolio of prioritized climate technologies. The contractor will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure effective participation and data collection, contributing to the country’s climate action efforts. This part-time position is located in Astana, Kazakhstan, and requires a postgraduate degree in environmental management or a related field, along with extensive experience in climate mitigation and waste management. 👩‍🔬🌏
