Job Description

The Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) is seeking a Field Language Assistant 🌍 based in Port Sudan, with a focus on facilitating communication and translation between staff, officials, and the local community. Your role will involve interpreting and translating documents, as well as supporting various operations by preparing correspondence and briefing notes in both Arabic and English. To qualify, you need a high school diploma and a minimum of 5 years of experience in translation/interpretation, with proficiency in Arabic and English.
