Job Description

The Information Management Officer (Digital Archivist) will join the Mechanism Archives and Records Section (MARS) at the Arusha Branch, where you’ll manage digital records for the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals and the archives of the ICTR and ICTY. Your role involves leading digital preservation initiatives, evaluating new technology for managing archives, advising on best practices, and overseeing the digital archive processing and accessibility. With a minimum of five years of relevant experience and an advanced degree in archival studies or a related field, you’ll contribute to strategic planning and enhance the section’s operations while working collaboratively with team members.
