Job Description

The position of Org. Setting and Reporting is based at the United Nations in New York, specifically within the Special Political Mission “Panel of Experts pursuant to resolution 2713 (2023).” This role involves reporting directly to a Senior Political Affairs Officer and encompasses various responsibilities, including gathering and analyzing information, maintaining awareness of political events, and providing substantive support related to Security Council mandates. The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s degree in a relevant field and have at least five years of experience in political science or international relations, with an emphasis on UN sanctions and peace security in Africa.
