The Field Security Associate plays a vital role in supporting the United Nations Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS) in Daraa Governorate, Syria, ensuring the safety of UN personnel in challenging environments. This position involves collecting and relaying security information, coordinating with local security forces, maintaining security plans, and assisting in training and briefings related to security awareness. The ideal candidate will bring at least seven years of relevant experience in security, risk, or emergency management, possess strong communication skills, and have fluency in English, with another UN language as a plus.
