FIRE SAFETY ASSISTANT

Job Description

The Fire Safety Assistant position is based in Hudaydah, Yemen, within the Safety and Security Section of the United Nations Mission to Support the Hudaydah Agreement (UNMHA) ☮️. In this role, you will conduct inspections and regular patrols to identify fire hazards, ensure firefighting equipment is functional, and facilitate fire drills 🚒. Your professionalism, communication skills, and teamwork will be essential in responding to emergencies and collaborating with colleagues 🤝. A high school diploma and relevant training in fire safety are required, along with at least three years of experience in security or firefighting. Fluency in English and Arabic is necessary for effective communication 🌍. This is a temporary position available until December 31, 2025.
