FORENSIC PATHOLOGIST (Temporary Job Opening)
Job Description
The United Nations is seeking a Forensic Pathologist to join the Human Rights Inquiries Branch in Juba, reporting to the Coordinator of the Commission on Human Rights in South Sudan. In this temporary role, you will investigate crime scenes, assess wounds or causes of death, and provide essential technical support on forensic evidence and medical documentation, especially in cases involving sexual and gender-based crimes. You will collect data for identifying human remains, reconstruct events, advise on the handling of mass graves, and prepare detailed reports of your findings while maintaining stringent confidentiality. This position requires at least seven years of experience, an advanced degree in forensic pathology, and fluency in English, with a commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and planning.
