Gender Specialist
Job Description
The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is seeking a Gender Specialist to provide expert guidance and support for gender mainstreaming in key environmental projects such as ISLANDS and FARM. 🌍 Your role will involve reviewing and implementing the Gender Action Plans, collaborating with project teams, and providing capacity building to ensure that gender considerations are integrated into every aspect of the projects. You will lead discussions, deliver training, and track progress related to gender mainstreaming efforts. The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate degree in a relevant field, at least 7 years of experience in environmental projects with a focus on gender issues, and fluency in English.
