Geospatial Information Officer
Job Description
As a Geospatial Information Officer, you’ll be part of the Geospatial Information Section within the Office of Information and Communications Technology, where you will support key decision-making processes for the Security Council and UN Peace Operations through the provision of essential cartographic and geospatial data. Your responsibilities will include preparing briefing maps, conducting research on geospatial issues, and providing geospatial information support to both the Secretariat and field operations. We are looking for someone with expertise in GIS software, excellent research abilities, and experience in geospatial database management.
