Job Description
The Human Resources Officer plays a vital role within the United Nations Secretariat, contributing to the development and implementation of effective HR policies and practices across various units, including field missions. This position involves talent sourcing, staff development, career support, and the administration of entitlements, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities like gender parity and diversity. The Human Resources Officer also oversees the performance management process, advises on employee rights and responsibilities, manages talent acquisition, and supports change management initiatives. With a focus on professionalism, client orientation, and performance management, this role is essential in fostering a positive work environment and promoting efficiency within the organization. šāØ A masterās degree in human resources or a related field, along with a minimum of seven years of relevant experience, is required. Fluency in English or French is also necessary.
