Job Description

The Human Rights Officer position is based in the Regional Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Bangkok, under the guidance of the Regional Representative. In this role, you’ll coordinate research, training, and technical assistance focused on the human rights of migrants, incorporating a gender perspective. Your responsibilities will include conducting research, analyzing data, supporting various commissions, and ensuring that gender equality dimensions are integrated into migration and human rights efforts. You will assist law enforcement in developing training programs and represent the UN in key meetings. A Master’s degree in law, political science, or a related field is preferred, supplemented by at least five years of relevant experience. Proficiency in English is essential.
