Job Description

The Human Rights Officer position is available within the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, specifically in the Human Rights Inquiry Branch, working with the Independent International Fact-Finding Mission on Venezuela. In this role, you’ll provide legal guidance on human rights investigations, conduct comprehensive research, and draft vital legal documents. You will identify trends in human rights violations, evaluate responsibilities, and ensure the legal accuracy of reports. Ideal candidates should possess a Master’s degree in international law or human rights, at least seven years of relevant experience, and fluency in English and Spanish.
