Job Description

The Human Rights Officer position at the Office of the UN Resident Coordinator (UNRC) in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, is a vital role that supports the integration of human rights into UN programmes, working with national partners to strengthen capacities for protecting and promoting human rights. šŸŒ The officer will provide advice and training, facilitate coordination, and engage with international human rights mechanisms while advocating for the values of human rights within the UN framework. A Master’s degree in a related field and at least five years of relevant experience is required. Fluency in English is essential, with French as a beneficial additional language. This temporary position is available until October 31, 2025, with a possibility of extension based on funding. āœˆļø
