Job Description

The Human Rights Officer position is located in the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in Ramallah, with the possibility of a duty station change to Amman, Jordan. In this role, you’ll coordinate humanitarian protection efforts 🎯, ensuring integration of human rights in relief programs and monitoring adherence to international standards. You’ll engage with UN and local stakeholders to advance protection initiatives, develop training programs, and lead a team in tackling complex human rights challenges 🤝. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in a relevant field and at least seven years of experience in human rights or related areas, with a strong commitment to professionalism, communication, and planning.
