Job Description

The Human Rights Officer position is based in the Asia-Pacific Section of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in Geneva, Switzerland. This role involves planning and coordinating human rights activities, conducting research, analyzing data, and preparing reports related to human rights situations with a focus on gender and minority perspectives. You will support country-specific initiatives, collaborate with Special Rapporteurs, and enhance awareness and education on human rights issues. A Master’s degree in law, political science, or a related field and at least five years of relevant experience, including fieldwork is required. Fluency in English is necessary, and a commitment to working in a diverse and inclusive environment is paramount. 🌏📚✊
