HUMAN RIGHTS OFFICER (TJO)
Job Description
Join our team as a Human Rights Officer in the Asia-Pacific Section at the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva 🌍. In this key role, you’ll advise the Special Rapporteur on gender dimensions related to human rights violations, manage documentation and analysis of gender-based abuses, and support the implementation of international human rights instruments 📜. Your expertise will guide collaboration with UN and NGOs, ensuring the integration of human rights in local programs, and you will play a pivotal role in training and supervising staff while fostering strategic planning and teamwork 👩🤝👨. An advanced degree in a relevant field and at least seven years of experience in human rights and gender analysis are essential. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of another UN language is a plus 💬. If you are passionate about human rights and gender equality, we want to hear from you!
