Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Individual Contractor to contribute significantly to the development of the GUARD tool for assessing Illicit Financial Flows (IFF), specifically focusing on Phantom Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). This position, based in Beirut and lasting for six months, involves econometric analysis to inform project outputs and the essential task of maintaining and updating electronic files and data. The ideal candidate should have a Master’s degree in economics, finance, or a related field, along with one year of experience in research and data analytics, particularly with STATA and Python. Fluency in English and Arabic is required, and the candidate will support the Financing for Development Team in analyzing risks associated with Phantom FDI, creating visual data representations, and contributing to research papers and presentations.
