Job Description

Join the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) team in Geneva 🌍! For a duration of up to 6 months πŸ“†, you will have the chance to work with the Technology and Human Rights team, contributing to strengthen international human rights mechanisms, enhance equality, combat impunity, & integrate human rights in various spheres. πŸ•Š πŸ”§

This internship opportunity is open throughout the year, pending team needs. As an intern, you will not receive financial remuneration, expect to cover the cost of travel, visas, accommodation, and living expenses. All plans should be discussed pre-acceptance if you require appropriate visa and work/employment authorization. πŸ›‚ πŸ’Ό

As an ideal candidate, you may be a recent graduate πŸŽ“ or enrolled in a graduate school programme at the time of submission, preferably in law, political science, international relations, social sceinces, or digital technology. Don’t worry about prior work experience – It’s not required! πŸ‘¨β€πŸ’»πŸ‘©β€πŸ’»

Comfort with English is a must, knowledge of other United Nations official languages (Arabic, French, Chinese, Russian or Spanish) is a plus! πŸ—£
