Job Description
Join us as a human rights intern in the Europe and Central Asia Section, where you will support the work of OHCHR in advocating for the protection of human rights 🌍. This three-month internship, starting September 1, 2025, will involve diverse responsibilities such as compiling and analyzing information, assisting Desk Officers in maintaining contacts with UN Country Teams and NGOs, coordinating missions, and supporting activities for the Universal Periodic Review. Ideal candidates should be enrolled in or have completed a graduate program in fields like international relations or human rights law, and fluency in English or French is required, with knowledge of Russian considered a plus. Please note that this internship is unpaid, and all travel and living expenses are the responsibility of the intern.
