Looking for a rewarding opportunity to showcase your skills? The United Nations is offering an internship position in the English Verbatim Reporting Section located in New York 🗽. This opportunity is available for a period of 2 months at a physical location or remote, with potential for extension 📆. Your role will include translating meeting records into English 🌐✍️, transcribing or reviewing transcriptions 🖥️, assisting in testing technology including speech-to-text 🎙️ and offering your mastery to various related tasks 👍. We value professionalism, effective communication, teamwork and technological awareness in our interns 👏. Academic requirements include an enrolment or degree in a related graduate program, and proficiency in English and at least one other official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish) 🎓👂. This is an unpaid internship, and all travel and accommodation arrangements will need to be made by the intern or their sponsors 🌍🏠.
