Intern – Languages (Russian)
Job Description
We’re on the hunt for an internship candidate in the Russian Verbatim Reporting Section with the Meetings and Publishing Division in New York🗽. This internship extends for two months 🗓️, with the potential for extension! Your expertise will be in translating English verbatim records into Russian, which must be your main language, for training and other purposes, along with transcribing or reviewing Russian transcriptions📝. You’ll also get the chance to assist in tech testing 🖥️, including speech-to-text. Not to worry, the role doesn’t require any prior work experience, but do note this is an unpaid internship. The role can be executed either in-person or remotely, and students at any stage of academia are encouraged to apply👩🎓! Don’t forget, your communication skills will be key, so fluent English and Russian are essential! All costs and arrangements for travel and accommodation are down to you, and just in case you were wondering, THE UNITED NATIONS DOES NOT CHARGE A FEE AT ANY STAGE OF THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS (APPLICATION, INTERVIEW MEETING, PROCESSING, OR TRAINING).
