Job Description

The United Nations Environment Programme is seeking a consultant to evaluate HFC licensing systems and consumption trends in two selected Least Developed Countries (LVCs) 🌍. This role involves preparing detailed reports and factsheets regarding trade control procedures and data monitoring mechanisms, identifying gaps, and assessing consumption patterns compared to baselines 📊. You will also disseminate findings through meetings with stakeholders. This position is home-based and expected to last for 6 months. Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant experience, including knowledge of the Montreal Protocol and HFC operations in developing countries 🇺🇳. A master’s degree in environmental science, policy, or engineering is required, although a bachelor’s degree with additional experience may be accepted. Fluency in English is a must.
