Job Description

As a consultant for the Result of Service role, you will play a vital part in the GEF-funded project, ‘Net-Zero Nature-Positive Accelerator Global Platform’ 🌍, which aims to help participating countries transition to sustainable economies by fostering finance and partnerships, promoting investment, and sharing best practices. This remote position will last for 12 months, supporting UNEP’s diverse programs on climate and the environment. Your responsibilities will include coordinating working groups, developing comprehensive guidance materials, and facilitating peer-to-peer workshops to build capacities in NZNP planning and modeling. Ideal candidates should have at least seven years of experience in macroeconomic analysis, with a focus on environmental economics and low-carbon strategies 🍃. Fluency in English is required, while Spanish proficiency is a plus.
