Job Description

As a Medical Officer, you will play a crucial role within the Occupational Safety and Health Section, reporting to the Medical Officer and Team Lead for Medical Entitlements. Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing clinical duties such as overseeing long-term sick leave and return-to-work plans, liaising with staff and HR on medical certifications, and addressing occupational health issues. You’ll also handle medico-administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with UN policies and supporting data analysis for informed decision-making. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential as you’ll collaborate with various stakeholders, while your medical expertise will guide the mission’s health initiatives. This position requires an advanced degree in medicine, relevant clinical experience, and current medical registration.
