Job Description
The United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) is seeking national contractors to support the Technology Needs Assessment (TNA) process focused on climate change mitigation in the Transport sector in Manama, Bahrain 🌍. Under the guidance of the TNA Coordinator, successful candidates will provide technical services to assess technology needs and deliver various outputs, including a portfolio of technologies, TNA and Barrier Analysis reports, and Technology Action Plans 📊. This role requires collaboration with stakeholders through workshops, an analytical approach to identifying barriers, and the development of policy briefs based on findings. Ideal candidates should possess a postgraduate degree in environmental management, at least five years of experience in the Transport sector, and strong analytical and writing skills ✍️. Fluency in English is essential, while Arabic proficiency is advantageous. The contract duration is expected to be 21 months, with opportunities for field trips and training sessions.
