Mitigation International Consultant on AFOLU
Job Description
The International Consultant on AFOLU sector will play a vital role in supporting Bolivia’s efforts to update its Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) in alignment with the Paris Agreement. This role involves producing key reports, validating baseline data, and mapping out gender-inclusive strategies for climate action, all while engaging stakeholders remotely. The consultant will work closely with the Ministry of Environment and Water, the Plurinational Authority of Mother Earth, and local teams to ensure that ambitious and realistic targets are set for various sectors, including agriculture and forestry, within the NDC 3.0 framework. This 7-month consultancy allows for remote work and requires regular communication with relevant authorities in Bolivia. 🌍📊✨
