National Risk Assessment Consultant for Libya

Join us as a consultant focused on strengthening risk knowledge in Libya! 🌍 Your role will involve identifying key risk questions, reviewing national policies, and facilitating training to enhance disaster risk assessment capabilities. You will collaborate with the Libyan government, analyze data, and assess institutional capacities to aid in disaster risk reduction efforts. This consultancy position is managed by the UNDRR Regional Office for Arab States, with an expected duration from July 1 to September 30, 2025. To thrive in this role, an advanced degree in disaster management or a related field is required, along with at least 5 years of relevant experience and fluency in English and Arabic.
