NDC – Low carbon buildings and cooling policy expert Ghana

Join us as a consultant to enhance Ghana’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) by providing expert support in identifying ambitious targets for the buildings, construction, and cooling sectors. Working closely with the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development, UNEP, GlobalABC, and the Cool Coalition team, your role will involve crafting actionable measures that align with Ghana’s climate goals. You’ll analyze and formulate strategies that will contribute to a comprehensive report, guiding the integration of key recommendations into the updated NDC. This remote position is expected to last for four months. The ideal candidate will have advanced qualifications in climate change and sustainable development, along with a minimum of ten years of relevant experience in sustainable building policies.
