Job Description

The United Nations is seeking a dedicated professional for the role of UN Resident Coordinator Office (RCO) in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea 🌏. This is a fixed-term position aimed at advancing sustainable development and achieving the 2030 Agenda and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through effective partnerships with civil society, private sector, and other stakeholders 🤝. The incumbent will provide strategic planning support, facilitate resource mobilization, and engage in knowledge management to enhance collaboration and strengthen UN efforts in the country. A strong background in project management, partnership strategies, and resource mobilization is essential for this role. Candidates should possess an advanced university degree and have at least five years of relevant experience. Fluency in English is required, and a commitment to gender equality and inclusive practices is strongly encouraged 💼.
