Job Description
The Partnerships Officer plays a pivotal role in supporting the UN’s mission to enhance sustainable development and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) while working in the United Nations Resident Coordination Office (RCO) in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo. This position involves building and maintaining essential relationships with various stakeholders, including government officials, civil society, and private sector representatives, to foster partnerships and resource mobilization strategies tailored for development priorities. The officer advises on innovative financing mechanisms, coordinates joint initiatives, and facilitates effective communication among partners, all aimed at accelerating the achievement of SDGs. 🌍🤝💼 The successful candidate will possess strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with a focus on creating impactful partnerships, all while ensuring gender equality and inclusive participation across teams. 🏆📊 THIS IS A FIXED TERM LIMITED POSITION. The position is located in the United Nations Resident Coordination Office (RCO) in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo, and reports to the Senior Development Coordination Officer, Strategic Planning and RCO Team Leader.
