The Climate, Peace and Security Unit (CPSU) is looking for a dedicated Political Affairs Officer to join our team within the Policy and Mediation Division (PMD) of the Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs. In this role, you will provide expert analysis and technical advice on the interconnections between climate change, peace, and security, while monitoring policy developments in these critical areas. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, contribute to the Climate Security Mechanism, and support peacebuilding efforts with climate considerations. Ideal candidates will have substantial experience in international relations, excellent communication skills, and an advanced degree in relevant fields.
