Job Description

The Population Affairs Officer will be part of the Fertility and Population Ageing Section within the Population Division of the Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA). In this role, you will provide vital support on population issues to intergovernmental bodies, develop and maintain databases, conduct technical studies, and assist with various administrative tasks. Additionally, you will organize seminars and meetings, present demographic analyses, and ensure effective data management. Ideal candidates should have advanced knowledge in demographics or related fields and a minimum of seven years of relevant experience. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of other UN languages is a plus. 🌍📊✨
