Job Description

The United Nations Counter-Terrorism Centre (UNCCT) is seeking a Programme Management Officer to contribute to critical projects addressing Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) and the illicit trafficking of Small Arms and Light Weapons (SALW). This position, located at the UN Headquarters in New York, involves working collaboratively with member states and organizations to design and implement initiatives that combat terrorism, particularly in Central Asia. The successful candidate will engage in research, policy development, and outreach activities, and facilitate workshops to enhance the effectiveness of counter-terrorism efforts. Ideal candidates will hold an advanced degree and have at least five years of related experience, along with proficiency in English and Russian.
