The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is seeking a dedicated professional for the position of Project Officer in the Ecosystems Division, based in Nairobi. 🌍 You will join a dynamic team focused on developing and implementing peatland-related projects, such as the Global Peatlands Initiative. Your role will involve project monitoring, data analysis, policy development, and conducting outreach activities. With at least five years of related experience, you’ll help shape actionable strategies that balance biodiversity, carbon storage, and community livelihoods. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential, and fluency in English is required, while knowledge of French or Spanish is a plus.
