Job Description

The Programme Officer position is based in the Countering Terrorism Section of the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism (UNOCT) in Budapest, reporting to the Chief of Section. Your role involves supporting a new project aimed at enhancing the ability of member states to prevent and investigate terrorist travel using advanced data techniques. This includes collaboration with international partners like INTERPOL and the International Civil Aviation Organization. You will also manage project implementation, budget monitoring, and outreach efforts to build capacity and promote information exchange. Candidates should have an advanced degree in business administration or related fields, along with at least five years of relevant experience in project management.
