Job Description

The Programme Officer (Market Access) will play a crucial role in the Africa Trade Competitiveness and Market Access Programme (ATCMA) for the ECOWAS region 🌍. Reporting directly to the Chief of the Office for Africa, you will provide expert guidance to ensure the successful execution of various regional activities alongside UNIDO. Your responsibilities will include managing the Programme Management Unit in Abuja, leading project evaluations, coordinating with stakeholders, and analyzing trade policies to support market access 🛠️. With a focus on enhancing trade for SMEs, especially those led by women and youth, you will help to drive sustainable economic development 🌱. Applicants should possess a master’s degree or equivalent, at least seven years of relevant experience, and fluency in English and French.
