Risk Knowledge Consultant for the Caribbean Region
Job Description
The consultancy aims to bolster the resilience and disaster preparedness of Caribbean nations by enhancing Multi-Hazard Early Warning Systems (MHEWS) and creating robust risk data ecosystems 🌍. This remote position will last for 18 months and involves collaborating with multiple stakeholders, including national disaster management organizations. The consultant will facilitate workshops and guide the improvement of information systems for effective risk management 🌪️. Required qualifications include a degree in disaster risk reduction or related fields, along with at least four years of relevant experience. Fluency in English is essential, while knowledge of other languages is a plus.
