Job Description

As a consultant for the SDG 6.3.2 Indicator, you will work remotely for 12 months under the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) to enhance the understanding and monitoring of water quality worldwide. Your role includes revising monitoring methodologies, supporting countries in data collection, and providing capacity development to ensure reliable water quality assessments. Additionally, you will engage with global stakeholders, develop training materials, and participate in international water meetings to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing šŸŒšŸ’§. A master’s degree in a related field and at least seven years of experience in water resource management are essential for this position. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of another UN language is a plus.
