Job Description

The Security Sergeant position at the United Nations Security and Safety Service (SSS-Vienna) involves organizing and overseeing security operations while ensuring the safety of personnel and premises. You will manage daily activities, conduct briefings, supervise staff, address security threats, and maintain operational standards. This role requires a strong understanding of security policies and the ability to make quick, sound decisions, particularly in emergencies. You should also have at least five years of relevant security management experience. Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of German is a plus.
