Job Description

As a Senior Political Advisor, you will play a vital role in guiding the development of the International Drought Resilience Observatory (IDRO) Phase 2, ensuring it’s positioned for a successful launch at UNCCD COP17 in Mongolia. 🌍 Your responsibilities will include leading the Strategic Advisory Board and providing high-level expert guidance for the project, focusing on the creation of a comprehensive Drought Resilience Index and enhancing collaborative efforts among various stakeholders to strengthen drought resilience. With your extensive experience in sustainable development, environmental policy, and strong network-building skills, you’ll help shape innovative strategies that align with UNCCD and IDRA goals. This remote position is open from July 2025 to September 2026. 💼📅
