The role of Certifying Officer at the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) involves crucial financial responsibilities, including budget management, treasury operations, and ensuring compliance with regulations. You will work within the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) in Bonn, Germany, collaborating with management to create budget proposals and monitor expenditures. Your expertise in finance will help optimize workflows and support efficient financial operations, contributing to environmental advocacy on a global scale.
