Job Description

The Senior Programme Officer position is based in the Programme Office for Counter-Terrorism Training in Africa, part of the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism (UNOCT) located in Rabat. In this role, you will lead the development and evaluation of key initiatives aimed at preventing and countering terrorism and violent extremism in North Africa and sub-Saharan Africa 🌍. You will guide a team in implementing capacity-building programs, coordinating policies, and fostering partnerships while ensuring gender mainstreaming and effective use of resources. This position requires a minimum of ten years of experience in project management and a strong background in counter-terrorism efforts within African contexts.
