Job Description

The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is looking for a qualified consultant to assist with the “Climate Proofing for Sustainable Development in the Western Balkans” project. This remote role will last 73 working days over five months, focusing on developing criteria for selecting demonstration sites for pilot projects to address climate change impacts in this vulnerable region. The consultant will collaborate with key stakeholders and experts to identify potential tourism areas for climate-proofing efforts, facilitating impactful change in coastal and mountainous regions. Applicants should possess a master’s degree in relevant fields, have at least five years of experience in sustainable development or environmental policy, and be fluent in English; knowledge of Serbian is a plus. 🌍✈️
