Job Description
Join the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) as an intern in Washington, D.C. ๐ This full-time, in-person position lasts for 6 months and involves supporting the Scientific and Technical Advisory Panel (STAP) in addressing critical environmental issues like biodiversity, climate change, and more. As an intern, you’ll assist with research, prepare presentations and speaking notes, help organize meetings and workshops, and contribute to communications efforts. A background in environmental sciences or a related field is preferred, along with proficiency in MS Office applications. Fluent English is required, and knowledge of an additional UN language is a plus! ๐ Please note that this internship is not financially compensated, and all travel and living arrangements are the responsibility of the intern.
