Technical Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Technical Assistant to join our team in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, for a three-month contract with the possibility of renewal. 🌍 The successful candidate will report to the Head of Brazil Office and work closely with UN-Habitat’s operational and technical teams to support the Social Territories Programme, focusing on assisting families in situations of social vulnerability. This role involves providing guidance to selected individuals, accessing important data, collaborating with local authorities, and enhancing access to public services. Ideal applicants should have a background in social work or related fields, computing skills, and a minimum of four years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Portuguese is required, along with knowledge of the National Social Assistance Policy.
