Job Description

As a Transport Expert, your main role will be to assist Botswana in effectively planning, managing, and tracking its Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) related to climate action. 🌍 You will implement frameworks for emission projections, assess the impact of relevant policies, and establish a robust data collection and management system to support progress reporting. This role can be fulfilled either remotely or in Gaborone, Botswana, over a span of 9 months. By collaborating with the Initiative for Climate Action Transparency (ICAT) and local stakeholders, you will focus on enhancing transparency frameworks in the energy and transport sectors, ensuring compliance with the Paris Agreement’s Enhanced Transparency Framework.
