Consultant – Communications Expert – Malaysia – Sustainable Cooling
Job Description
The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is looking for a Communications Expert to develop and implement a national awareness campaign promoting energy-efficient room air conditioners (RACs) in Malaysia. This role involves creating a comprehensive communications strategy tailored to local stakeholders, designing engaging multimedia content, and executing an effective outreach campaign across various platforms. You will engage with key audiences, provide educational resources, and support compliance with the latest energy performance standards. This is a part-time position based in Kuala Lumpur for 6 months, ideal for someone with a strong background in communications, strategic messaging, and a passion for sustainability 🌍✨. Availability for travel within Malaysia and familiarity with energy efficiency policies is a must. Fluent English and Bahasa Malaysia skills are required, with additional local language proficiency being a plus.
