Job Description
The Consultant on Cultural Policies will play a crucial role in supporting UN-Habitat’s efforts in São Gonçalo, Brazil, focusing on the development of a Thematic Analysis Booklet on local cultural policies. Reporting to the Head of the Brazil Office, this home-based position entails a collaborative approach with various stakeholders to analyze cultural initiatives and public funding mechanisms in the municipality. Over a three-month period, the consultant will devise a detailed work plan, gather relevant data, and formulate strategic recommendations aimed at enhancing cultural governance aligned with global sustainable development goals. This role requires a bachelor’s degree in relevant fields, at least six years of experience in policy analysis or cultural management, and proficiency in Portuguese, with favorable consideration for those familiar with the UN system. 🌍📚✨
