Job Description
As a consultant for the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), you will develop a comprehensive playbook and methodology that enhances smart city initiatives and utilizes digital tools for a people-focused approach to climate action 🌍. Your work will align with international guidelines and promote sustainable urban development, showcasing how technology can bolster resilience and address urban challenges 🏙️. This home-based position (Nairobi) will last for 6 months, and you will guide local governments on integrating innovative digital solutions in climate policies, ensuring a sustainable future for urban communities 🌿. Preferred candidates will have relevant academic qualifications, extensive experience in digital transformation, and strong skills in developing policies and training programs 🎓. Fluency in English is required, while knowledge of other UN languages is a plus.
